WASHINGTON Gerald R. Ford leaves his beloved U.S. Capitol for the last time Tuesday as the period set aside for ordinary Americans to say goodbye gives way to an elaborate invitation-only funeral at the awe-inspiring Washington National Cathedral.
As the first order of business Tuesday, Ford's remains were being removed from the Rotunda to lie in repose briefly outside the Senate before leaving the Capitol where Ford served as a congressman for 25 years. As vice president, Ford also had the constitutional title of president of the Senate.

I can't help noticeing all the great ones are republicans.
I saw it the day after and it nearly covered his whole chin, so it's much smaller now, but I guess at 80, it just takes longer to heal.
I had sympathy pains for him because I had that same kind of bruise from a fall many years ago.

Saw that!! He just can't help himself. He does what he can to portray himself as human, just can't quite figure out how it's done.
Kissinger's remarks about President Ford leaving the office w/out regret and not being concerned about his legacy in history were very telling.....but they probably went right over the heads of the 2 former presidents in the office. LOL
