There was a movie a long time ago with Michael Ironside about people with mind control ability who could cause people's heads to explode. I think it might have been called something like "Screamers", but I can't remember. Ironside played the bad guy who had tried to drill a hole into his head when he first discovered his powers. That type of ability would come in handy for dealing with people like this.

As I recall, these two-legged dog turds announced they were going to protest at the memorial service in Massachusetts of former Congressman Gerry Studds, who was gay. I never saw any follow-up stories. Either Westboro chickened-out or the news media ignored them. Maybe they will continue to ignore them.
