This, along with the photos from yesterday of the VP and Mrs. Cheney, and also the wonderful ones today of the Rumsfelds, show how much President Ford was respected and loved by these colleagues of his. They are so moving.
One has to wonder (or at least I did, anyway), if President Bush 41, at age 80+ sees all this and wonders about what will happen when he passes away. I would think it must cross his mind.
I also wondered about James Baker. Is his wife still living? I thought it was interesting that he was at the casket with the Bushes. I know they are very close friends, but I still thought it a little surprising.
