Special note to Virginia residents:

We still do not have a resolution for the donations issue with the Commonwealth of Virginia, so please hold your donations until we get it resolved. As it is, any donations received from Virginia have to be returned or turned over to our lawyer to hold in his trust account until we get the matter settled.

I'm from Virginia, and I just pledged. What's going on...should I still send the check anyways?

Virginia has a law that is intended to regulate charities raising money in Virginia. We're not a charity and feel it does nor apply to us. They say it does. Our lawyer is working to get it settled and has advised us to not accept donations from Virginia until it's resolved. Some Virginians are sending them in anyway, so we're asking our lawyer to hold them in trust until we get a resolution.

Many Thanks
