Oil exploration is hugely profitable to the MexGov. For this reason, it is financed by the MexGov.

The ill-gotten gains of the MexInvasion also benefit the MexGov. Ergo, it, too, is enjoys informal and formal financing.

This state of affairs will the US can re-order the preferences of the MexGov, which is when the invasion ceases to be profitable to them.

How can we make the costs of the invasion they bear outweigh the benefits they crave?

Illegals caught should be sentenced to years of uncompensated hard-labor in the US.

Indeed, the key is to dissuade them from coming in the first place ...and to persuade the ones already here to leave. The method:

1) Cut off the welfare freebees.

2) Heavy fines for all companies employing illegals.

3) Secure the border with the National Guard and a barrier (wall/fence).

4) Rescind the anchor baby laws.

And of course, to never reward their lawlessness with amensty.
