That's a myth. I can find facts and figures about France, Germany and Russia who sold Saddam BC technology too.
You are probarly using chemicals and biological agents in your own home right now and you don't even know it.
I'm sure we sold Saddam's Regime chemical and biological agents just like any other country did.

If you watched FoxNews during Saddam's hanging. It was interesting. Saddam's lawyer said Saddam was not responsible for the Kurdish death. Iranian were using chemcial weapons too.
If you check out United Nation Resolution back in 1988 they did not say Saddam killed the Kurds. Only thing they said in the UNRES was chemical weapons were being used during Iraqi-Iranian war.
The UN did not place sanctions against Saddam back then only after the first Gulf War. UN told the world community to police themselves and restrict certain types of technology.
I don't think sanctions would allowed to go through because Russian and China who belong to the UNSC would vote no on it. Russia was a big supplier of military equipment...including China.
