I should also probably point out that the Albanian resistance under stalinist Enver Hoxha was officially atheist.

What does that mean? Hoxha declared Albania to be an officially atheist state in the 1960s, but that doesn't mean than Muslims weren't part of the Albanian partisans in the 1940s.

Hitler's muslim SS units, by contrast, were...well...officially muslim. They had muslim crescents and slogans on their uniforms, prayed to mecca 5 times a day, ate muslim prepared meals, and travelled with imams - all sanctioned, supported, and paid for by the Reich.

Leaving aside for the moment the fact that the SS units did not have "muslim crescents and slogans on their uniforms," you are ignoring the fact that Hitler's Christian units had crosses on their uniforms, references to God on their beltbuckles, traveled with Christian chaplains and ate Christian meals, all sanctioned, supported, and paid for by the Reich.
