Another fall out I see from RW's "method" is disrespect.

Prior to him invading a Bible driven church where modesty in dress was taught and practiced ... now it's more like, "let it all hang out" dress.

I live in lovely New Jersey. It is tax heaven. To staff our local WalMart we HAVE to import people in to work there. No one where I live can afford to work at WalMart and pay their property taxes. It's an affluent area.

Today you walk into that same church and you've got folks in ripped up jeans, low cut shirts in the summer, exposed diamond studded belly buttons and pierced faces with various hair colorings. Some of those "ripped up jeans" are quite expensive ... it's almost as though they are mocking those who are forced to wear this garb because of being impoverished.

These SAME people will go to work dressed to the nines. These same people will go to expensive local restaurants dressed UP but to church they dress DOWN. They have proper attire but REFUSE to wear it in a house of WORSHIP. We will never be worthy ... however we could and should dress respectfully.

Study after study states how you dress, affect your behavior. IMO, we're way to casual towards God. Folks are more interested in defining HIM DOWN to fit their off work hour lifestyle - including comfy seats rather than wood pews that are not as comfortable and force you to pay more attention.

Last summer I sent my daughter there for VBS. I didn't know where else to send her. She came home wondering if she could dress like her "guide" at VBS. A guide will walk a group of kids to different teaching areas. She had a diamond studded belly button, a tattoo on her arm and a diamond stud in her nose. She was also anxious for the day she would develop "boombies". This one apparently had large ones ... . Modesty in dress is not there nor is it taught. Disfiguring your body is acceptable also.

How can a church see THIS as a healthy example for young girls? This is precisely the kind of stuff I'd see at a mall! I don't want to see it in a place of WORSHIP!

As far as I can see, it all goes together - imitating the secular world to sneak em into heaven. The Bible clearly states otherwise:

Rom.12:2

[2] And be NOT conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I see the church and those setting the "example" as conforming to the world and trying to influence others to do the same! It should be the other way around. The church members and helpers setting the example to have others dress more modestly etc...

2Cor.5:17

[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Frankly I see a reply of Sodom and Gomorrah. The "church" would LOVE to believe that IT is savings souls - left and right ...however the reality appears different ... the "church" is lowering it's standard to that of the common sinner as Lot did. Lott became like those around him. He didn't see it. It was a slow seduction. I see the same happening in these RW driven churches.

Is it just me or do you see that too?
