Seriously, and I really, really mean it. Let's let Warren off the hook this year. He earned the "Hezekiah" award for last year having lived beyond his 15 minutes of fame and brought disaster to the cause much like Hezekiah did with Manasseh.
Why don't we nominate a couple of church leaders for the award and see how they pan out during the year. No fair nominating Ted Haggard, He is last year's news. I think the guy that took over Adrien Rogers' Church might be one to watch. He looks like he could really do some damage.
We should be watching them all...especially the "good ones". One doesn't have to keep an eye on the First Church of Satan, we know what they're all about. Remember, all of the Liberal churches and institutions (such as Harvard and Princeton) started as God fearing ministries and congregations. One can see where they are now.
Paul warned the Ephesian elders every day for three years to the point of tears concerning heresy coming into the church. Now there is a "method" worth emulating...one that also happens to be sanctioned and inspired by God.
As to your last post to me, i suggest that you take up getting pingged to these threads up with Dr. Eckleburg. i'm certain that you and the good Doctor can come to some sort of accomodation.
He is just following the Purpose Driven method (as I understand the problems there)?
