Exactly. In order to reach the alcoholics, we don't have to BE alcoholics.

Or, as a friend said to me many many years ago, "Jesus ate with the junkies, but he didn't shoot-up with them."

Very true! These days when you even mention the word “sin”, someone will always chime in with “Jesus “hung out” with sinners” “Jesus ate with sinners” as if He somehow condoned it.
