Leave out the basking part and ask yourself where does that leave Billy Graham? The media seem to love him as well.

I wouldn't say that the media *fawned* all over Billy Graham; it seems to me more like he was just so wildly popular that they weren't in much of a position to criticize him much without making themselves look bad. Plus, he must have been a man of great integrity, or they would have gone after him for that, as well. They just didn't have anything to pin on him.

[...Billy Graham is a man of integrity, nothing to pin on him...]

Thank you for including this about Billy Graham. He is notorious for conducting his life "above reproach". He will never allow a female to enter his office without leaving the door open. Billy has walked the talk and will soon be in the presence of God. His book "Holy Spirit" spoke about when his Mother died, she heard the angel's singing. Soon, Billy will hear the angels singing and I'm sure he will hear the Lord say, "well done, good and faithful servant".

Billy Graham had a salary of $75K a year and drove a Ford Crown Victoria. What do you suppose Rick pays himself?
