I'm afraid Romney is too slick, there is something I don't trust about him, though I have yet to completely figure out what it is other than he seems to say what people "want" to hear, and that bothers me. Now, is he good looking and a great speaker -- absolutely. But I want to know what lies below. I know gay marriage managed to get by him and Mass is the only state that allows it and it happened under his watch.

That was an action of the courts, not something he could do anything about.

The main thing that recommends Romney to me is that he has been a businessman almost his entire career.  And he managed to turn a profit after taking over the Salt Lake City Olympics after it looked like it was going to be a disaster.  That's the same kind of thing he was famous for in private business.  It's also exactly the kind of skill set that I think is required to fix our government.

No argument there .. I think we all need to know who a candidate is and where they stand when deciding on who to be Presdident of the United States

I wasn't endorsing Romney .. (i haven't picked anyone yet) just pointing out the whole Mormon/Religion thing is a non issue for this election
