Every time you post Nifong's name, put (Democrat) after it.

I've got a copy of the pdf of the document / newspaper ad that all the multiculturally sensitive Duke professors signed, basically calling for the LAX players' heads.

They should be booted from the university, along with Broadhead, for their actions.

The people who voted for him are Democrats, as well. Tells you all you need to know about Democrat "values". The Dems have to be the most hypocritical bunch of politicians in American history.

I live in Raleigh, next door to Durham; have for a dozen years. If the 'players' in this travesty had been Republicans.......ahem.......................................................no, never mind. I won't insult the intelligence of my fellow FReepers by even asking the question.

I'll have you know that I am a member of the 4th party thank-you-very-much.

Gads, there is another party even less relevant?

It would be interesting to see all of those who came to Durham, North Carolina and jumped on the Nifong band wagon in the early days of the prosecution. I would love to see their quotes at the time. Al Sharpton and others come to mind.

There were also several Freepers on his side back then. Funny, but I do not see any of their posts lately.

Unfortunately, a Republican is helping Mr. Nifong instead of helping the people of Durham County.

This is not new. Some Republicans are so much for principles that they don't care if their principles are thrown away by the elected officials.

Don't get worked up by this guy. Anyone that condones the kids behavior is part of the problem. While the kids should not face charges based upon the evidence, they should be expelled from school based upon their behavior.

does it matter what cbs says on its pathetic dnc ads (60 mintues) no one watches this shi-ite anyway...just ask katie couric how well she is doing in the ratings!!!

of course nifong is a lib/dem....he had to go after those bad white boys because some black women claimed she was raped...no proof no witnesses no dna but he still is prosecuting them!!!!

if the case would have been in reverse...white women and black students...he probably would not have prosecuted and given them a pass in the name of affirmative action!!!

I spend a lot of time in NC and have for years. It used to be a conservative stalwart, but over the past ten years I don't know what has happened. Illegals run wild there, many of the politcos are dems, UC Wilmington is a bastion of liberalism, the place is going down fast.I don't get it at all.

Seems any time illegal aliens or waves of immigrants from hostile countries move into an area, there is a loss in the quality of life.

In some areas it's almost expected but I never dreamed NC would go down the tubes as well.

Soon, all the media will be reporting that Nifong is a closet Republican. No one has the guts to call this as bullsh*t. What republican has been out there speaking out about this. If you know of one, inform me and I will appreciate it.

Congressman Walter Jones and State Rep. Stephen La Roque have been speaking out about Nifong's misconduct. Jones has asked the DOJ to look into whether the defendants' civil rights have been violated; LaRoque wants the state legislature to pass a law that would make it possible to bring criminal charges against prosecutors for misconduct.
