The President's plane is arriving at Andrews Air Force Base at this moment.
On DU they said Steve Ford pushed Cheney out of the way to escort Mrs Ford to the casket ...anyone see anything like that?
Well....I bet Larry King has heard from someone about that by now...
I am shocked that he said that about Cheney and Rummy. I am not shocked that he had nice things to say about Pres. Ford...
The left has decided that HE is okay, NOW.
I am sure they didn't feel that way when he was POTUS though.
me too
Yikes. I saw earlier that Colorado was expect a bit more snow.
"The only good Republican is a dead Republican."
Someone took your comment the wrong way. Don't worry.
My mother tried to teach me to knit, but I didn't have the patience. Still don't. :)
you, me and my husband too...so hard to do, the more I think of it (quitting) the more I find myself smoking...
Yer funny.
I like what MOgirl said earlier, "Fight fire with fire!"
I ... AM ... READY!!
Those are all that I picked out of yahoo. I hafta make dinner now... starving.
I just don't get it! I give up!
Nothing that was said about President Ford cannot be said in spades about our beloved President Bush.
Further, the first President Bush was a gentleman through and through. He never insulted, attacked or denigrated his adversaries.
The rotten apple in D.C. was slick willie yet he's revered.
Sec of Defense Donald Rumsfeld is STUCK in a massive snowstorm in New Mexico. All flights are cancelled until Sunday at dawn.
Thanks for your support.
Hello,
:)
MOgirl
To this day they hate that he didn't allow them to string Nixon up on the gallows.
:-)
I'm with you on Cheney. Always was a Rummy Chick, but Cheney makes me melt.
How about paint-by-the-numbers...?
(ducking... running...)
Now for a couple of my personal Ford memories. I was 12 years old when he was tapped by Nixon and I'd never heard of him, perhaps because I have neither lived or set foot in Michigan. (blush). The day he took office, I was with my father, and he was playing tennis (I was just hanging out at the court) and at 12 noon we paused and listened to the inaugural on his transistor radio. Then, a month later, my dad and I were driving around Chadds Ford, PA when we heard Ford pardon Nixon on the radio. My mother, with whom I lived (my folks were several years divorced by 1974) voted for Ford in 1976, the last presidential election where I was too young to vote.
Jerry, you're in a better place now. I look forward to seeing you. Thank you for healing the nation.
