I mean if the Iraq war is a "mistake" and we "were led to war by lies" certainly Saddam should not have been executed.

In a sane society Pelosi and her fellow socialists wouldn't be able to have it both ways and someone would demand they answer the question.

Not only that, but if Saddam was honest when he stated he had actually destroyed all 600 tons of Chemical and Biological WMD that he admitted possessing, and that the CIA and UNSCOM verified he had after Gulf War 1, why was he still executed ?

Perhaps he was not an honest man after all.

Not necessarily. Even though Saddam was unquestionably a brutal dictator who fully deserved death, it could be argued that he was little threat to the US, and that the war in Iraq was thus a mistake.
