I recall the story about when Chelsea was in school during Clinton's presidency and got sick, or something. The school nurse said they'd have to call her mother, and perhaps have her picked up and taken home. Chelsea thought and said, "No, better call my dad." To Bill's credit, he always seemed to be closer to Chelsea than the reputed mother.
