Here in Illinois they just sold the county (Cook) gallows to Ripleys this month. Hadn't used it in 80 years, but the county kept it an extra 40 or 50 due to the escape of "Terrible Tommy" O'Connor, a cop killer in the early 20s. They might have found him, and he was sentenced to die by hanging, couldn't be electrocuted. Originally made for the Haymarket Square riots, it would have been perfect for Sadaam.
