Ok. Here it is.

Texas Style Beans
2 C. pinto beans
1/4 lb chopped fat meat or bacon
1 C. chopped onion
3/4 C. chopped green pepper
2 t salt
2 T sugar
1 clove garlic or 1/2 t powder
6 drops of Tabasco pepper sauce
2 cans Chopped tomatoes

Cover beans with water. Bring to a boil. Add meat and onion.
Turn off heat and let sit 1 hour
Bring to boil.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer 2 hours or until tender and thick.
Serve with onion and cornbread.
