There was a Twilight Zone called "Hmmmm.... An Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge,". Took place during the Civil War. Someone was hung in that one. Why not let Sodamned Insane watch that while he's waiting for that which is to come.
An Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge was a short story by Ambrose Bierce. Must have been adapted for TV.
