If you want, you can have the Volvo Wagon (for free). The estimated cost for repair of the transmission was $2500 or so, so it's sitting in the driveway. The engine is new. Tires and brakes and timing belt are new.
She'll probably hate a station wagon, though.
I'll mention it to her Dad! It's probably too big, though. I don't care that she'd hate it, but I do care what happens when she backs up! Her driving instructor particularly mentioned a very limited concept of right and left ...
