This thread and others in a similar vein exhibit an ugly side to Free Republic that is just as revolting as the cruelty expressed on this site in October 1998 when so many here (still) rejoiced at the murder of Matthew Shepard.

You missed my point entirely. I'm not concerned about Saddam, or that rank and file Iraqi's will be upset. Just that terrorists may take advantage of the situation. Remember the terrorists -- sometimes called rebels and insurrgents by the MSM?I didn't miss your point, which was just stating the obvious. The US troops will be on the alert. That's a given. Take advantage of the situation? You mean they need a pretext or "situation" to attack US troops or interests?
