Rick Warren has just about destroyed the Evangelical churches in this country, and now starting on the entire country.

Rick Warren and Jim Wallis do not represent the Evangelicals. They are both in for a big surprise if they think they do.

Pastor Warren invited both Senators Obama and Brownback to his church to discuss AIDS and what can and needs to be done. Really? I didn't know Brownback was there. If Brownback accepted, he got absolutely no press.

More and more of the Evangelicals, especially in blue states, are falling for Aids, poverty, and global warming as the top issues they should be concerned with.
Sources?

The facts are that most REAL EVANGEICALS are highly educated people, who can be duped by the devil just like any other Christian.

The "Christian Left" is growing in amazing numbers and under the banner of "social justice" they will embrace Obama's preaching from the gospels of Marx and Engels.

If this is true, then "the Evangelicals" have to be pretty damn stupid.

EVANGEL HAS BEEN HIGH-JACKED !!!Evangel is the witness of Christ, the Savior, The only begotten Son of God, The annointed , The Messiah and a ton of etcetera's.
That's the basic.
EvangelIST is the one that proclaims the witness to others ... a preacher. John, the baptist was a preacher .. an evangelist.
(an) Evangelical is someone that believes in the message, but generally speaking, isn't really active in the spreading of the Gospel. IMO .. it was a combination of heathan and evengelical that attended Herod's party, watched "Solome does Herod" on the Spice channel, and tsk tsk'ed that John just wouldn't 'tone it down' and be a little more PC. ..... for his own good, of course.
So
anyone in my opinion, that uses or utilizes EVANGELICAL in any way (and especially a 'mega church') is a wolf in sheep's clothing and is to be exposed.

You mean, "Rich" Warren? I loved the "Purpose Driven Life", but his support of Syria's Assad as a "moderate" leader is outrageous. Rick Warren is entitled to his opinion and his support of Obama, but he leaves himself open to critisism if he does.

I think you are right. The endless media push about haw "mean" conservatives are is having an impact on weary evangelicals. We need Christian leaders to hang tough and remind their congregations that people who do the truly right thing are often scorned by the world.
