BARACK OR HILL IN '08? DEMS CHALLENGE BOTH (Obama can't win---sick and tired of the Clintons)
NY POST ^ | December 29, 2006 | VOX POPULI

Posted on 12/29/2006 3:41:44 AM PST by Liz

***...the Democratic Party is not going to nominate an inexperienced freshman senator for president. All Sen. Barack Obama does is deprive more viable alternatives to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of media attention and campaign donations. As with Gen. Colin Powell, the media obsession with Obama is due solely to the fact that he is an African-American serving in high national office. Meeting the experience threshold is entirely different from being ready, willing and able to both campaign for, and actually serve, as president. NAME REDACTED Medina, Ohio

**** Obama is just another Howard Dean clone. Like all other Democrats, he has never met a tax increase he didn't like......If we Republicans can go back to the conservative values that elected us in 1994, we can defeat liberals like Obama and put the left where it belongs - in the minority. Frederick, Md.

**** .....I can only wonder if Clinton herself is putting Obama into the spotlight......she will stop at nothing to ensure that she gets the Democratic Party's nomination for president in 2008. Anyone who doesn't think that the Clintons are dangerous had better wake up real fast or else we will watch her being inaugurated. Now that's a scary thought. Hicksville

**** Let's pray that we can be saved from the evil machinations of Clinton. She has so many skeletons in her past that she is unworthy of consideration. Portland, Ind.

**** Why does Dick Morris keep hyping Clinton? People are sick and tired of the Clintons and their corruption, scandals and constant conniving. The Clintons are only interested in two things: money and political power. The good of the country is not on their agenda. Lawton, Okla.

Nah, it's going to be Hillary-Obama.

A well rounded ticket: One has a penis and the other cries like a baby when you talk about his ears.

I actually think John Edwards will end up being the nominee.

But alas:

John Edwards -- the political equivalent of breast implants.

Considering the Dems are already acting like their old selves before they've even taken control of Congress, my hopes for a Dem defeat in '08 are considerably higher than they were on election night '06.

Come November 08, I'm pretty sure we Republicans as well as the Libertarians and Democrats will be holding our noses as we pull the lever, push the button or clear the chad.

I am sure the Donks feel about the same about the Hillary!/Obama question that we feel about the McCain/Giuliani one. Surely this can't be all there is...

So much money and MSM time is going into the silly Democrat candidates that the republicans have a clear field of fire with respect to capturing the electorates attention - should they find a candidate who isn't a RINO.

We've yet to see the Dem nominee. Their best bet would be a governor from a southern/midwestern state.

Obama is no Howard Dean .. He's way smarter and way smoother

Obama is more like a cross between Bill Clinton and Jesse Jackson

And make no mistake .. Obama is not running against Hellary .. he is running with her

He's a rainmaker for the Democrat Party .. he can pull in the $$$$ and the votes
