Earlier Thursday, Saddam’s chief lawyer implored world leaders to prevent the United States from handing over the ousted leader to Iraqi authorities for execution, saying the former dictator should enjoy protection from his enemies as a "prisoner of war.">/i> Wow. Is he saying that the Iraqi people are enemies of Saddam? That's a pretty stunning admission, although I don't quite think he meant it that way...

He's not a valid "prisoner of war" he was caught in civilian clothes not a uniform. Hang 'em high.
