Let's be clear. Islam is NOT a religion of peace.

***He received his Ph.D. in political science from Stanford University. He is the author of the new book Religion of Peace? Islam's War Against the World. **

I dont know how this guy got a PHD from Stanford. I do know that he dosnt stand a prayer of ever teaching in any University in this country. His views on Islam would deny him that opportunity.

Islam is no religion. It is a cult with plans to rule a world full zombies, and cut the heads off anyone who doesnt like it.

I'm just wondering how the Muslims of bad faith, the peaceful one that have been in the west for many years, have justified their beliefs according to this article? Were they ever really Muslim to begin with? Did they over look certain passages in the Koran that calls for Jihad or interpreted them in non violent ways? I can't see how these people who are non violent, loyal Americans are living a heresy; and for so long of a time without really noticing it.

Powerful. I can only pray that we grow up out of complacency and tackle the truth of the facts presented here. Thank you for this all important post.

It's a religion of "piece". Bloody pieces from the infidel they killed, bloody pieces of the woman or young boy they raped. Pieces are everywhere.

I read this awhile back. It is one of the best articles out there currently, so thanks for posting it.

Important points to remember:

"There is no a priori justification to assume that peaceful Muslims represent authentic Islam while violent Muslims do not. "

"When Westerners approach Islam, they imagine that it is a religion like others that they are familiar with - like, say, Christianity." (It is not.)

"Islam is less a personal faith than a social and political plan for organizing humanity - really, a system of government."

"An Islamic society is invariably a theocracy ruled by Sharia (Islamic) law, which is understood as God's prescribed legal code for all mankind, based on the commandments of the Koran and the precedents set by Muhammad."

"There can be no question of the type of government in Islam because Islam is a government."

"The 'war on terror' is misnamed. Terrorism is a tactic, not a goal."

"Islam and its faithful adherents are trying to undermine our secular governments with the ultimate aim of replacing them with Sharia."

"we need to develop a program of containment that will operate on all levels of government policy."

"Rather than democratizing the Muslim world we should be seeking to secularize it." (Getting rid of it entirely would be preferable, but secularization is the next best thing).

"To secularize or pacify Islam would require it to jettison two things: Muhammad and the Koran."

"there will likely never be a time of genuine peace where the Islamic and non-Islamic worlds live in harmonious coexistence."

"For the West to win, it will have to rediscover the reasons for winning, the reasons that the West and its heritage are worth preserving."

He is the author of the new book Religion of Peace? Islam's War Against the World.

I pray for the day that a majority of Americans will understand the true nature of islam and begin the long fight to rid the world of islam’s curse.

Perhaps someone will send a copy of the book to Dubya for his enlightenment.
