be sure to post all the times crimes are committed by citizens, too.

Why, are CITIZENS in the country ILLEGALLY? Every crime by an alien is a preventable crime. Evidently the constant sacrifice of CITIZEN life to people who by law are to be DEPORTED doesn't bother you.

Maybe you would like to worship here with one of your new "immigrants".

EULESS, Texas A Santeria priest is suing the city of Euless to keep city officials from enforcing ordinances he believes restrict him from practicing his religion.

Jose Merced alleges city officials denied him a permit to perform Santeria ceremonies with animal sacrifice inside his home. The 45-year-old says the cermonies would be done in private, away from viewing or hearing by others outside. The 45-year-old Merced is an ordained Oba, or priest. He says blood sacrifices of animals are essential to practicing Santeria --- a religion that mixes Roman Catholicism with African beliefs.

But he says city officials told him he couldn't conduct any religious ceremonies that included animal sacrifices because it was illegal. The suit names Kurt Kasson, an employee of the city's Office of Planning and Development; interim police chief Bob Freeman and Mike Collins, director of planning and development.

A call made tonight to Euless city offices was not immediately returned.

A 1993 U.S. Supreme Court decision in a Florida case held animal sacrifice was a form of religious worship protected by the Constitution.
