Most teens form close (nonsexual) relationships with the same sex as they begin to mature and break away from family and form their own identities--it is a time of confusion, uncertainty and excitement in which self worth is determined by peers. What a shame if they are taught that relationships forged during those times make them a homosexual....how many would act on those platonic feelings (in our promiscuous society) b/c they felt they have to since they've been told they are gay? and how many would end up being used by an adult's agenda as this girl is being used?

Another thing the reporter mentioned but did not follow up on: "Sasha and her three siblings lived with their grandparents in Salem for several years while their parents were in and out of trouble with the law."

And what kind of "trouble with the law" was that?
