The 2008 nomination is the line in the sand. If a RINO wins the nomination, the hand writing is on the wall.
The big moneyed RINOS - the Keans, Whitmans, Mehlmans, Eisenbergs, etc have taken ove the party of Lincoln and made it the party of Democrat Light.
But we will have to wait and see what happens. Right may yet come out on top. It happened before with Reagan.
I think a traditional values conservative caucus within the Republican Party would wield considerable formal authority, and that would made them a formidable obstacle for any nominee seeking the presidency in our party.
A 3rd party would be lost in the media wilderness.
A traditional values caucus could control the party.
