"Hiding behind paper hung over the windows of his office, Nifong issues written statements and refuses to talk with North Carolina reporters. Yet Thursday he gave a three-hour interview to The New York Times."
I assume the person who wrote this editorial has some suspicion that Nifong may not have handled the case properly, but I believe the above statement more accurately addresses her dissatisfaction with the Prosecutor. At least Mr. Nifong has managed to upset everybody in some way or another and there will be continued fall-out. Every time someone stands up to his idea of justice is a victory -- no matter what direction it comes from.

And what about all the legal bills the families have rung up? Those bill have got to be in the six figures. Pity Nifong won't be on the hook for those.
