Good deal. Hard drives can be a pain like that.

Just built a new system with 2 SATA drives in a RAID for the operating system just so I can avoid those kind of nightmares!

The Pisser of it all is that this all happened just because I was trying to use this PC to load a new OS onto another harddrive to restore my old PC.

I took the cover off, turned off power and popped in the new drive as a secondary. reapplied power and it went barfomatic on me L0L

I just wanted to load Xandros on the new drive because I was to cheap to pay bill gates another 200 bucks for another copy of XP
