Bernstein on TV trashing Ford today, now this!
Why would anyone believe a single word from either of these opportunists.
Particularly since Woodward has a history of communing with the dead.

Lou Dobbs program was one of the few that had a Republican (Ed rollins) on to discuss Ford.Krudlow had Robert Dole. Chrissy had Andrea Mitchell and FNC had (barf) Carl Bernstein.

As luck would have it, President Ford dies JUST AS Woodward's lies, er, rather, important historical work is ready for publication!
Mirabile dictu! Deus ex machina! And all that jazz....

Yes. That IS the million dollar question: Why WOULD any conservative even agree to meet with him? He must be one hell of a salesman in person or something.
You know what really irritates me? Is to hear the newscasters talk about President Ford and how he was sometimes ridiculed for his stumbles.
They ALL talk about it as if it were someone ELSE who had done the ridiculing, not THEM...boy that sure does irritate me.

I think Betty Ford would know if this was true.

Woodward is still trying to hold onto the fame he got from Nixon's presidency. All those players are dying off; he's gonna lose his notoriety when they're gone.

Didn't Woodward say he talked to Bob Casey while Casey was in a coma on his death bed?

I don't believe woodward for a minute. This is the guy that interviews dead men. Ford is dead. Now who can challenge anything woodward might write? It will be all his word against another's.

Over the past several years, Bob Woodward has been secretly interviewing Gerald R. Ford for a book to be published after the former president's death...Woodward is great at this - talked to CIA head Casey on his deathbed (in a coma, no less), and now has been taliking to Ford and will publish after he dies - who knows what Ford revealed that he won't be around to deny or put in perspective - what a charlatan Woodward is......
