"I have taken out full page ads before, so I know how they work and they do work....."

A lot of people would like to take out full page ads in the Durham newspapers, in order to get the truth out. (Newspaper coverage there by at least one of the papers reads like a cheering section for Nifong).

But the cost of those is prohibitive, even though everyone thinks it's a good idea.

And if we did band together and get enough for the ad, then the people in Durham would just say that it must have been rich white people connected with Duke who put up the money for it.

And that could lead to (if possible) even more resentment.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it works....sure there is resentment, especially when you have what you have here....3 white rich kids and poor, poor (sarcm) black woman....sorry but I just don't have any pity for a person like her, whether she is white or black that would pull something like this to ruin 3 young lives....and that is where the resentment lays....and that is the point that needs to be brought out, and the fact that this gold digging DA you have there has about as much of common sense of a piss ant....and thats just the way the ad should read....

When you take on 'city hall' don't expect to come home clean, you'll have dirt from one end to the other, but at least they know you aren't afraid to say what you will in public....and that is the point that will hurt them....they don't dare take you on for fear you'll run another ad....
