Maybe...or not....

I don't think Islam will become the majority in this country.

And beyond that, if we change the friggin Constitution to outlaw Islam, you want to guess what will be next?

No the Constitution CLEARLY states that there won't be any laws against or restricting religion of any kind.

It figures that members of this forum only want THEIR religions and not others. Pathetic.

And if it was amended it would state something else, wouldn’t it?

Don’t you have a bit of a problem claiming constitutional protection for a doctrine that has as a stated aim the destruction of constitutional protections? Do you not see the logical problem here?

Could you live with an amendment to the first amendment adding a small caveat? How about something like: “…providing such religion is not hell-bent on violently converting us all and destroying constitution governance, the right to practice it freely shall not be infringed.”? Fair enough? Otherwise, isn’t any subversive ideology free to operate as long as it claims some sort of supernatural authority?

If you claim you can’t be governed by any secular authority because only your god can govern, isn’t it a little silly to claim protections for your god from that same secular authority? Pathetic indeed.
