Ted kennedy is actually saying the election sent a message we want this. Peter King is livid and saying Kennedy is totally misconstruing the election and immigration was the one strong thing the GOP had in September.
Ted Kennedy probably can't remember what he says on a day to day basis.
But, the politicians will use whatever they want to justify their actions. Besides the people who actually pay attention to world events (like those who post on FR) I doubt immigration was the driving force at the ballot box. Everyone knows it was really Iraq.
