Exactly- Most everything in the Koran goes directly against the constitution of this country- Ellison is in OUR country NOT his- He abides by the wishes of OUR citizens- NOT the Muslim comunity! If He can't stand before OUR God and swear an oath or affirmation & be bound by our God's oat- then he has NO business serving! The clause was written for the purpose of allowing Quakers, who do not swear, to serve in government. Jews also take advantage of it, as do Unitarians, members of various dissenter groups, Orthodox Christians, atheists, Moslems, Buddhists, Hindus and so forth.
