Twas the Night Before Fitzmas, all over the 'Net
The hot buttered rums were as strong as they get
The FReepers were FReeping, but often misspelling
Admin Mod had a hip flask (but nobody's telling)!

Then out on the lawn, there arose such a ruckus,
I sprang from my desk, injuring my tuckus
I limped to the window, threw open the blinds,
And yelled, "%$#@!" ... Hope nobody minds!

Cause there on the snow, stood a dark, wizened Elf
I repeated, "%$#@!" in spite of myself
He looked like Helen Thomas, reduced to a tot
I knew in a moment: This must be a Zot!

I quickly returned to my humble HP
Sent "Abuse" to the Mod, who was too drunk to see!
I decided I'd have to do this one myself
I'd rid Free Republic of this Zotbait Elf!

The lightning strike jpeg I posted quite fast
Followed by Kerry, just lighting his a##!
Then to the Rumsfeld, with bolts from his hand
I avoided a couple, for fear I'd get banned!

From outside, I was greeted with shrieks of sheer pain
I called on the troops, and I called them by name!
On Laz! On fierro! On dead and Petronski!
On Howlin! On PJ! On you, Captain Ronski!

Rid my front lawn of this devious troll!
Send it back to DU! That must be the goal!
In seconds to my eyes appeared quite a flash!
The Zot was performed! And the troll was an ash!

I stood at the window, aghast at the sight
Then returned to my HP, to FReep through the night
From the distance I heard a scorched troll crying "%$#@!"
No question he'd taken a sizeable hit!

And I heard him exclaim, as he limped to his hole
"I'm calling Ramsey Clark! FR unfair to Troll!"

I've been tracking Santa. He's already done Florida and has reached Atlanta. (His trip to Savannah was quick. Very few people there had behaved themselves.)
