Country is a very wide definition, goes from hillbilly to folk style ballads. Some I love, some I can't stand. More than anything else, it tends to be music that tells stories, which I tend to like in whatever genre.

I hope to hail you get that chance. There are plenty of places, mostly in the south, where toronados occur with some frequency. There is plenty of hail, and it is not at all uncommon for grown cows as well as calves flying about in the twisting winds. May you get your wish.
