Our young men and women will be invading within the next two years.
I wonder why "third World" dictators resort to economic destruction, in order to prove a point. Force of habit? I mean, people like Mugabe and Chavez could be little dictators without wrecking their respective countries.
A most accurate and succint description of this evil philosophy!
Anything too good to be true always seems to survive in the minds of the thoughtless.
Destruction of the economy is destruction of the middle class. Without a middle class, societies rarely can function as democracies.
After all his protest and Chavez has yet failed to set himself on fire. Maybe we could help correct that.
Depending upon how the national elections go in '09 we could be sending financial support to this tyrant.
'07 that is....
One of the great images in her special report was a night satellite picture of the Korean peninsula. This night photo shows millions of brilliant lights coming from all over the land of South Korea. Immediately to the north across the DMZ is nothing but darkness.
Too bad liberals just don't get it.
It's even simpler than that...I had a brilliant communications professor in college. we're talking 25 years ago and I still remember a lecture he gave us...he was known for giving these brilliant lectures that seemed apropos to nothing, and then, at the end, would give us the morale of the story and it would hit you in the gut.
One day, he was telling us about the habits of rhesus monkeys and the social order they develop. He talked about the way the monkeys would live and it all revolved around their offspring having a better living environment. It was a very detailed lecture, but you didn't understand what this point would be.
At the end of the lecture, with only a minute left to make his point, the teacher said, "And this story, students, is proof of why Communism will never work..."IT IS A BASIC LAW OF NATURE TO WANT BETTER FOR YOUR CHILDREN."
It blew me away.
Great story.
I seriously doubt that.
Before that happens Puto Chavez will be overthrown by the peeples, or a military coup, or killed. The movement against Puto within Venezuela is very big and has momentum. It could also be very bloody but our troops will not be involved.
"With a little liberal guilt manipulation, I might even be able to convince the "A" students that this is the right thing to do. The question then is: What would be the median score on the next test? Would it stay at 80? Or would it decline? What would be the impact of this decree on the more productive students? And on the lower achieving ones?"
This is a great analogy. I'll remember it for future use.
I've got a commie-loving brother who is a professor in California who supports Chavez.
I just sent him this story.
He'll either not respond, or call me a knuckledragger.
But I did bold the professor analogy. I hope he reads it.
So true!
It's about power, and the ultra-privileged lify style that goes with it. People who crave and amass such power must reduce it in others who might become their rivals, and who might vote for their rivals. In addition, there is only so much wealth in any nation. When you're busy grabbing it all for yourself and your cronies, everybody else can only get crumbs.
Ever stop to wonder why it is that these Socialists, who claim to want to even out society's wealth so that all have a piece of the pie, always manage to grab the largest and best pieces for themselves?
