Blacks aren't judging Nifong

It's sad when race trumps truth, logic, justice and decency. I honestly don't understand this mentality. It's ugly, self destructive and self defeating.

What African-Americans really think about OJ, Tawana, Farakhan, the Duke case, is only know to other African-Americans. Their perception is that the only time white America is concerned about racism is when it is manifested in these type situations. It appears to them, that whites lie in wait for such a moment and then expect all African-Americans to lead the parade in denouncing other African-Americans for their racism. They feel to the bone that whites are so motiviated as a subtle device to discount their own history of racism toward African-Americans and to cover up the sins of the past, sins that still effect African-Americans to this day.

I'm not saying that this perspective is correct. ..I'm just saying we should try to understand. . .I'm not saying we shouldn't critique wrong perceptions. . .however. .we need to understand that the whole story is indelibly linked to white America's sad history with regard to its treatment of its non-white citizens.
