Well, I wouldn't use the word "maneuver". Let's just say my wife gets her way a lot more than I get mine when there is a difference of opinion on how to do things, and it comes about without confrontation or arguments or bad feelings or the feeling that one person is dominating the other. I guess I don't know exactly how it happens but believe me, Thai women are not passive but do know how to get their way.
