Went to a street fair this morning. Never before had I seen so many unfriendly, self-absorbed women in one place. That, and the super joyful older black men, presumably homeless, hired to regulate the traffic, wishing everyone "Merry Christmans", not "Happy Holiday", hired to regulate the traffic, were the two impressions I carried home. Something about the Christmas season brings out the worst and best in people!
