The Dems have done this before. In the 80s they appointed a group with one more Congressional Democrat than Republican on it to decide a race from (I think) Indiana. Leon Panetta was one of the Dems on the group. In the end, if I remember correctly, the Democrat won the race by one vote under objections by the Republicans on the investigating group.

Leon Panetta has been a fascistic totalitarian all his life. Why would anyone think he'd do anything other than cheat in an election.
