Other states siphon growth
California's population increase slows, despite immigration, births.
By Clea Benson - Bee Capitol Bureau Published 12:00 am PST Thursday, December 21, 2006
California continues to lose residents to other states, one factor driving a slowing population growth rate, the state Department of Finance reported Wednesday.
Overall, the state gained a net 462,000 residents in the fiscal year that ended June 30, bringing the total population to 37.4 million.
California lost a net of about 67,000 people to other states, the report said, but gained about 213,000 foreign immigrants. Those people, combined with hundreds of thousands of babies born to California residents, accounted for the growth.

I know!!! They absolutely HATE diversity!!! Their prime directive is the lowest common denominator of middle "c" average!!! Just like the public employee union mob... Anybody exerts some extra effort and their soon shut down for makin the rest of the lame mob "look bad!"
"Lookin bad," is the absolute worst thing that can happen to a liberal GovernMental employee. They're all obsessed with "lookin good," "feelin good" and never bein made to feel uncomfortable by accomplishing a danged thing and thereby lookin too good!!!

I find it intensely interesting that when you read further down in the posted article that my county isn't referred to at all as growing anymore like the surrounding Sacramento, Placer and Yolo. The Growth/No Growth issue is the one that has prevented a County Supervisor from being re-elected in my district for over 30 years!!!
It's dumber than the Tastes Great/Less Filling argument!!! I told you the only growth industry we have up here is Government!!!
