Man sets himself on fire in political protest

A day after the Kern High School District board of directors voted to rename winter and spring break as Christmas and Easter break, a man set himself on fire in front of the Liberty Bell on Truxtun Avenue in apparentn protest.

He carried a sign saying, "(explicative) KHSD," according to a Kern County Sheriff's Deputy at the scene.

He was quickly extinguished by deputies working in the court, according to Bakersfield Fire Department Captain Garth Milam.

Lamentable. The fellow seems to have a special place for flames.

Its amazing just how evil some of the world is. willing to kill himself, and the spirit of Christmas all while slighting his Country.

Whats more amazing is how much good there is in the world. Those good people that saved his miserable self
