Their faces are so sweet. I almost selected one of their pics for the photo of the day, but decided to choose the pic of our brave soldier who looked most injured. Their sacrifices humble me and bring me to tears.

Thank you, Onyx. I think choosing a soldier's photo for POTD made a lot of sense. I always get teary when we see pictures of GWB and Laura at Walter Reed. I just can't imagine how they feel--knowing that in large part due to GWB's decisions, these brave soldiers have been wounded. Wow. What a weight to bear--even if, as we hear over and over that the soldiers say they would do it all over again and they believe in their mission. It must be incredibly emotionally draining.
I love the pics of GWB wrapping the presents with the children. Just adorable!
Thank you for your work. We are visiting our families for Christmas, so I haven't been here for a few days.
