I've always liked Brussel Sprouts, and had these regularly growing up. But I became very much in fondness of Brussel Sprouts when I grew them myself. The richness is unsurpassed. Plus, the convenience of just slicing these off the stem they grow on. These taste like eating good health!

Alright. Your encouragement has me convinced it will be WORTH IT to get to the stores right after Christmas, to get at those balls. Balls, I say Balls! :) And, the tomato cages after Spring last frost, April 10th. Of course, I could use batting to really even out the ribs of the cage.. Oh yes, I'm still thinking about it, lol.
I'd best be saving a picture now from this thread of what these are "supposed" to look like...

Thank you - I've printed off the front page of the site.
Before moving here, I'd all but given up on bows. I used ribbon but would make arrangements with sprigs of Rosemary from my plants. I'll be doing it again once these new babies get big enough. And with the bows, these would be quite lovely. The rosemary is a wonderful aromatic particularly for this time of year. It scents the room.

You might want to check Walmart for the bow maker gadget --- since you'll already be there for the balls. :)

Actually... I've been creating a WH doc -- first photo is that very exciting one of Laura and W; followed by the screens of the ideas I'd like to re-create. For example, garlands with candycanes; doing this with candycanes or BALLS! around the doorways of my home. Hmmm! :) This idea is just so appealing. I feel rather jolly thinking about it. ;>

That's IT! (No matter how obscene it looks!).
You smart cookie! These fresh, and still on the stem, are going to taste just shy of heaven. Frankly, I'm envious; and I ardently hail your good sense and taste, snugs.
