NY will lose two electoral votes. Pennsylvania will lose one and perhaps two. Massachusetts is in the same boat. New Jersey is in danger of losing one electoral vote.

And it will only get worse now that Spizter will tax everything in the state except his hair, because he doesn't have any.

You gotta love it. Younger people get edumacated at famous Northeastern universities and colleges and then leave for greener pastures.

I just don't want them coming to where I live and trying to change our way of life. There's a bumper sticker I've seen that reads, "We Don't CARE How You Did It Up North".

Read it. Learn it. Don't forget it. And you'll be welcome.

LOL! Don't worry, Florida will pick up those electoral votes. The next census will make it offical.

and anyone who thinks that Florida is a "swing state" is drinking the Kool Aid.

The Yankees are moving south and the illegals are moving north and they meet in Texas. Every time I go to town the traffic is worse and worse. My property taxes are skyrocketing because the land it being developed at such a phenomenal rate. My school taxes are out of this world because we can't build schools fast enough for the influx of newcomers. On the news just last night they talked about Texas being the fastest growing state. Someone forgot to send the email that we're filled up already.

According to a link on Drudge, NYC had 88,891 abortions in 2005," WOW! What a big bunch of murderers abortionists are!

" it can be partly attributed to people heading to Texas and other states that are growing jobs at a faster rate. "

Heading to Texas and other states that don't have state and city income taxes.

Florida will pick up two, maybe three. Georgia will pick up one and perhaps North Carolina. Arizona will get one, perhaps two. Nevada and Utah will get one additional.

two fewer democrat guaranteed seats.. Big deal..

But if you multiply this by at least several of blue states...MA,PA,MI,IL,etc....and realize that red states will be picking these seats up and it starts to look better.

Hmmm, I wonder.....did the 88,000+ abortions in NYC have anything with the population drop?

That should be this countrys immigration policy for foreign nationals and Americans migrating within the country. Polite people with manners would respect that.

Don't bring what you ran away from to my home.

Ah, you should've seen Brooklyn all the way up to the mid-1960's.

Everybody knew each other and got along. Few neighbors locked their doors, and stores had no security gates.

Since, it's become the opposite. NYC is predominantly occupied by non-assimilating foreigners and clowns from God Knows where who come off as New Yorkers after being in town two months. Native New Yorkers are a dying breed.

Katrina-ravaged Louisiana

Here in Florida we get ravaged by hurricanes on a regular basis but new residents continue to pile in and it hasn't even slowed them down.

I'm wondering how long Louisiana is going to exploit is 'victim' status".

"[the population was] 19.3 million, a drop of 9,538 from a year earlier... That drop is minuscule - 0.0005 percent - and based on estimates rather than an actual count."
Behold the school of journalism graduate. Would someone please explain it to him [with a 2x4 to unstuck the buttons on his calculator] that 0.0005 is 0.5%. At least they are capable of managing a spell checker, which is wondrous and unbelievable.

At least us Yankees (when we move south) pay our fair share of the tax burden. When we buy houses and get good jobs (on the books) we pay our own way, just as YOU do. The same can not be said of illegals.

We're also being swamped by illegals too up here in CT.

Each and every one of our major cities is a "sanctuary city".

Yep. But there is more to it that that. Otherwise south dakota would be one of those that is growing like gangbusters. It isn't. They even pay a woman's child bearing expenses, and still can't grow the population. I think there is also no (or very little) property taxes there, and no state sales tax.(but city sales taxes in some areas)

I could be a little off on the taxes there, It's been a long time since I researched taxes. It seems to me the lowest 3 states for overall taxes was SD, NC, and TX. TN might have been in there too.

Jobs is a major factor for population growth..
