sounds like a decent insult to me :)
I think I'll make up some cards to send to the Gitmo detainees with a rather non-descript picture of the middle east on the front. Inside, it will bear the message "Merry Christmas! By accepting this card, you are accepting Christianity, and have foresaken Islam!", then have some marines take their pictures looking at the cards, to be posted on the Internet...
And looks pretty dern good while doing so...
Add Pat Dollard to the list of those who have been nice. The one-time self-described "Hollywood Pimp" traded in his high-powered lunches with Hollywood's A-listers and headed over to Iraq to document the gritty heroics of U.S. troops fighting for the cause of freedom

Everyone is writing about ex-Hollywood agent Pat Dollard (Steven Soderbergh's former rep) while everyone in Hollywood is worrying he's gone all Colonel Kurtz (some say Travis Bickle) on us. My view? Agenting makes everyone who does it crazy, and Dollard is just trying to regain his sanity. Trouble is, he's doing it in Iraq and making like a pro-war Michael Moore with a camcorder. Coverage of him began in January with a squib in U.S. News & World Report, which then solicited Dollard's own account of the trials of filming what is described as his TV documentary.
One nadir: his Humvee convoy (above: Dollard's photo of it courtesy of U.S. News) was blown up by a "monster" IED in Ramadi, killing two Marines and sending him into the hospital. He confided to U.S. News he worries about the soldiers, and tells that to his camera a lot. Read here and here (scroll down for both). There's this week's update from him on HollywoodInterrupted.com. Thankfully, Dollard is up and around again. I, for one, can't wait to see his footage no matter its political POV. If HBO were ironic, it'd run it as the half-hour companion to Entourage.
I'm not a naughty teacher--I never use ropes in any lessons I teach.
Hey, its none of my business. What happens in the classroom, stays in the classroom.
Maybe sending christmas cards to islamic terrorists is not necessarilly showing them support but making a different point.
That's KNOT what I was inferring. :P
That one lady who sent the Christmas cards to the officials who took her house would be a good candidate to send "good" Christmas cards to the terrorists.
Best wishes!
If true, the so called "Americans" sending those 14,000 cards should have their names and addresses published. Lets see just who they are.
OMG!!! That's what get's me up at 5:AM every weekday morning... fer shure!!!
We'll be back in time for her next radio show.

What? Is she tryin ta hold that little teeny skirt of hers in place, er what???
She WAS creative no doubt.
They could be seemingly feeble attempts at presenting Christ to them. If it produced one convert to Christianity it would be worth it. God still does move in mysterious ways. I can hope, at least.
The heathens were getting wishes (that I believe were mostly "you poor souls are being treated so unfairly by the corrupt neocons") and our troops were getting shafted.
Really sad!
