Somehow I think Hillary is the one behind this release of info.

She has everything to lose if he is in the lights at election time, and a lot to gain if she can have him in jail before the election.

In my opinion, Berger did this for them, and they are gonna blackmail him into taking the fall.

THAT is an excellent theory. The Clintons are well aware that if there is ANY possibility of scandalous information hitting the fan, it needs to be aired out way before serious campaign time so that it may quickly become "old news".

This newly publicized Berger stuff may have been something the Republicans were keeping up their sleeves, and the Clintons decided to bring it out themselves, on their own terms, and closely following an election when any scandal is LEAST damaging.

On the other hand, maybe it was Kerry who set this cycle in motion.
Or somebody else who wants to get Hillary out of the way.
