Is it simply a case of being tired?

Or is there something else at work here?

I'm not saying that Olmert is in cahoots with the Palestinians.

I just find it odd that he's doing nothing at all.

Is Olmert under some sadly mistaken impression that if Israel does nothing, that Hamas and Fatah will stop launching attacks?

Israel needs a man of strength and vision, and his name is not Olmert.

While I agree that Bibi is a way better leader than Olmert, caution is currently required. In Lebanon, you have Hezbollah fighting the Lebanese government, and in Gaza, you have Hamas and Fatah fighting each other. All they need to stop fighting is a common enemy, and Israel is wise to not interfere while its enemies are destroying themselves.
